In a world so noisy, where notifications vie for our attention, where do we find the silence to actually connect to our highest selves?
To connect not only implies linking up with the outside world through personal meetups or by way of using technology, but with the quiet, powerful center within ourselves
I.A.N.A.’s “Bold Reverence” is bourne of a practice that I have adopted in my own life. Something I should have done earlier in life. For me, it’s not just another prayer session or mindfulness exercise; it’s an intentional way to pull myself into a bold encounter with my innermost depths.
We use “bold” quite intentionally. We often equate strength with outward aggression or demonstrable power, but true boldness is in the quiet audacity and willingness to turn inwards. To face the quiet tempests within us, the weaknesses we typically keep hidden, the traumas, shadows and skeletons, and the whispers of a deeper reality where, perhaps, the soul and spirit are in harmony with divine order. The boldness is about being daring enough to make space for reverence, for awe, for a connection to something greater than ourselves, whether, like me, you call it as Modimo (God), or the universe, or the sacredness of being.
This is not about adhering to strict dogma or ritual prescriptions. This is about authenticity founded on the awareness and acceptance that Modimo is the creator who is in charge of our lives. This is about you discovering your own path to connect, to reflect, and to access the wellspring of inner peace that is present in each one of us. This is about the discipline to make Modimo the centre of your life. We’re simply doing it online, together, to power up the words “I Am Not Alone”.
During the weekly meetup, we provide the structure – a minimalist, “contact-less” online community, guided by gentle prompts and enveloped in ambient silence. You bring yourself, your questions, your yearnings.
Why silence? In silence, we hear the whispers that are drowned out in the din of daily life. In silence, we create space for introspection, for a genuine encounter with our own heart. It is an active undertaking, not a passive retreat. It is a courageous leap towards living a life that is authentic to what we hold most deeply.
“Bold Reverence” is not a solution or a fad. It’s a practice, a commitment to developing a greater sense of connection with our higher selves, the world within and around us, and with Modimo.
It’s a chance to root more deeply spiritually, root more deeply into well-being, and find a sense of purpose that resonates from the deepest part of us.
If you are up for being bold, for going into the silence and retrieving the power that’s within, the come and join us. You’re not alone.
